Within the GHRSST-PP international framework, the JPL Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC), has assumed the role of the Global Data Assembly Center (GDAC) for the Project, tasked with the distribution and data management of all data products derived from the RDAC partners.

These responsibilities include the distribution of the near realtime L2P and L4 products from a 30 day rolling store, metadata management and data search services, interfaces to the NOAA/NODC Long-Term Stewardship and Reanalysis Facility (LTSRF) for product archiving, and customer support and applications.
